Your wedding will be one of the most special days in your life. The Alexandria Ensemble has many years of wedding experience and from the moment you make first contact to the time the day is over, we will add our expertise and advice to your plans. We certainly come with insider experience- Alex (1st violin) and Jane (Viola) in the string quartet were married in 2003!

We provide tailored advice for your wedding ceremony and the reception afterwards

As a guide, our typical performing time is 2 ½ - 3 hours, which in our experience covers the ceremony and reception drinks, or reception and majority of the wedding breakfast. However we can be hired for longer periods if you would like live music throughout the whole day. Alternatively we can be hired for a shorter time if all you would like is music for a specific part of the proceedings. Few ensembles offer such flexibility of hire -- we consider this one of our strengths.

We are always open to discussion and negotiation.

Every event is different and we pride ourselves on being able to cater for all requirements and circumstances, and on providing that ‘personal’ touch.

Once you have contacted us, we will send you some quotes for different timings or groups, and a copy of our contract for you to fill in and return to us. We will then confirm your booking and look forward to meeting you on your big day!
